Spay Panama, affiliated with Spay USA, has spayed and neutered nearly 35,000 animals. It is strictly an NGO, with no funding or other assistance from the Government of Panama, and has a dedicated team of physicians who are highly skilled in spaying and neutering dogs and cats. I have volunteered at Spay Panama, and have adopted 4 kittens from spay clinics I have volunteered at. Spay Panama plays an important role in improving the skills of local veterinarians and in public education on humane animal care and the need for spay and neuter.
