Review for SafeHaven of Tarrant County, Fort Worth, TX, USA
As President of the Mid-Cities Supporters of SafeHaven, I come in contact with the staff at the shelters and the executive staff that are there to counsel and help each client get on their feet and into a new life for theirself and for their children. The staff is trained and they have to be strict with the clients in order to protect them from the harm of their abuser, by setting rules. If the client doesn't follow the rules, I feel sure that they feel that they are still be abused, but I preconcieve that as doing their job to protect and encourage the client to move forward, to be safe and strong to tackle the difficulty of being abused. Rules have to set and followed to protect everyone.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the service and contact with the clients as we give the staff and clients a "Mother's Day Out"; taking food to be served on the week-ends so that the staff and the mothers do not have to cook or go out to feed their family. Take books and games to the children and enjoy time with them and visit with their mothers are take them to shop, etc.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
encourage more individuals to donate more or their time and funds to provide additional staff to service the needs of the clients and hopefully improve the services for each person.
