Review for Freedom Alliance, Dulles, VA, USA
My experience with obtaining assistance from Freedom Alliance in support of a Wounded Warrior was professional, courteous, and expediant. I am a Soldier/Family Advocate for Wounded Warriors and made a request on behalf of a Wounded Warrior assigned to the Ft. Eustis Warrior in Transition Unit. the Soldier was recently diagnosed with a serious illness and requested financial assistance for a round trip ticket from Texas to Virginia for her mother. The Soldier had surgery and had no family to assist her with her post op care. The Soldier requested that her mother be flown to Virginia to take care of her. Freedom Alliance went the extra mile to help this soldier with her request. The Soldier, her family, and myself are greatful for the support that was given.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The results that I experienced were positive in that a very ill soldier in a financial crises was granted assistance with the post op medical care.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The only change that I would make to this organization is to change the criteria for OIF/OEF Wounded Warriors to Seriously Injured Wounded Warriors in need no matter where the Soldier was injured. Everyone serving on Active Duty is in support of OIF/OEF whether they are in theatre, training, or in Garrison.
