Review for Freedom Alliance, Dulles, VA, USA
I was a CPL in the US Army, injured in a roadside bombing 1 August 2007 that resulted in the amputation of my left leg below the knee. I met people from the Freedom Alliance this past year, the have been very supportive of my softball team, the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. Coming to local games, cheering us on and hanging out with us after games to relax. I can tell they have a great interest and care about all the soldiers they come into contact with, truly is a great organization.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The support they have given me and other wounded vets.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Get more involved in the wards at the respective military hospitals, make sure the soldiers know of all the things they can do after injury at an early stage.
