Review for Sadd Inc, Marlborough, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've found that there are a lot of great organizations out there, but when it comes to SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions, founded in 1981 as Students Against Driving Drunk) there is something different. Nationwide, SADD has more than ten thousand chapters made up of teens helping teens make positive decisions. SADD is not just an organization, it's a lifestyle. In a day and age where some teens struggle to make the right choices, SADD has empowered me to live above the peer pressure and live the "No-Use " lifestyle that millions of other teens in the SADD family are living each and everyday.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my everyday life. SADD has taught me to stay true to my values despite the peer-pressure. I know that the lifestyle I am leading will allow me to have a bright and healthy future.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting hundreds of other teens who share my lifestyle. These friends are accepting for who I am, and they truly care about who I am. I know they are striving to be above the influence and make the same decisions I am.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

AWESOME. These staff members became family. They are caring adults who want to be part of my life, who care about my future, and serve as role models. Their energy and passion for the organization help to make the organization the special "family" it is.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change 10 million lives. The beautiful part of SADD is teens are the voice, feet, and power of the organization. We are the ones spreading the no-use message to our friends and peers. I cannot think of a better investment.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
