Review for Nature's Edge Therapy Center, Inc., Rice Lake, WI, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been bringing my son, Ethan, to Nature's Edge since about August 2010. He has been in speech and cccupational therapy. They are absolutely AMAZING in what they do. The way they work and make them selves available to not just the kids but also provide a wonderful support system to the parents. Ethan LOVES going there and really strives on making them proud of him. We have seen MANY improvements in his behavior and more in his skills. He is 8 years old and we have been working for years to help him tie his own shoes...Heidi(OT) had him tying them within a half hour. It was a proud moment to see the look of accoplishment on his face. They have given both Ethan and myself many tools. The ideas they come up with and the skills they teach you couldn't get in a "regular" facility with the same programs. The patience and love that comes from them is honest and rare. We LOVE them and are very grateful to have found them:)

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My son, he is a different boy than when we first started!

How would you describe the help you got from this organization?

How likely are you to recommend this organization to a friend?

How do you feel you were treated by this organization?

Very Well

How did you find this group?

We were referred by my son's Pyschiatrist.

What, if any, change in your life has this group encouraged?

It definitely encouraged me to be more helpful, that it takes all of us working to improve his life. We have always been a strong advocate for him & have tried to get him to doctors, therapists, and pyschiatrists that work the best for him. But we learned that the more "hand on" we are like his excersises with him and taking"time ins" the more he responds.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Role:  Client Served & I have learned tools to help improve my son's life.
