Review for ICAN, International Cancer Advocacy Network, Phoenix, AZ, USA
I was diagnosed with two cases of Cancer simultaneously: Melanoma & Esophageal.
ICAN connected me with a MOHS (I never before even heard of MOHS) surgeon who removed the Melanoma. Now, unless I point it out, no one even sees the scar on the middle of my forehead.
ICAN connected me with a Medical Oncologist and a Radiation Oncologist.
Now, quarterly PET/CAT & Endoscopy find no evidence of Cancer in my esophagus!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I'd get a phone call from ICAN telling me to be at a particular Doctor's office tomorrow at 10:30. Later that day, I'd get a call telling me to be at another Doctor's office at 2:30. I was actually driving between two Doctor's offices, when my cell phone rang with a third Doctor's office confirming my appointment for the following day!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
If I had to make changes to ICAN, I would make it bigger so that they could handle a larger patient load.
