Review for Ronald McDonald House of Indiana Inc, Indianapolis, IN, USA
Being new to volunteering and nonprofits, the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana was and continues to be a great place to give my time. I came to the RMHI by being a multimedia/graphic design intern. My first day here I had a warm welcome by the staff and volunteers. To everyone here I was not just an intern; I was already a part of the Ronald McDonald House family. Helping out and giving my time in such a friendly environment allows me to enjoy myself feel great about all the effort I have put in at the end of each day as I walk through its doors.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Seeing the Big Deal Poker Tournament form and being able to help create its promotional material was a great experience. I was able to witness an event such as this come together, meet some tight deadlines, cause some headaches but in the end everyone had a great night, and we accomplished what we were looking to do, which was raising money for the house.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
When it comes to the creative and marketing side of the RMHI, I would love to see it expanded. I realize money in nonprofits is a fine line, but if more people were aware of what the house does, how it helps out families in need, I think more people would be inclined to volunteer and to donate. Not to mention acknowledging all the families that are helped could make for amazing stories.
