Review for Boulder Valley Health Center, Boulder, CO, USA
I have been a Board Member of Boulder Valley Women's Health Center (WH) since 2008, and am now President of the Board. I joined the WH board primarily because of Susan Levy, who is the most dedicated and brilliant Executive Directors I have ever met. I was also a strong believer in the mission of the organization -- to provide comprehensive sexual and gynecological health care and education to girls and women of every age, income level and persuasion, regardless of their immigrant or financial status.
I attended a sexual health education class at Boulder High School this spring, and was amazed at the level of candor by the teacher and the students, and the quality, completeness and honesty expressed.

Observing the amazing compassion and quality care given to women in difficult circumstances -- having to make a decision about abortion. I had to get a "back alley" abortion in 1962, and no one should ever have to experience that horror.
