Review for Pacific Clinical Research Foundation aka Smiles International Foundation, Carlsbad, CA, USA
I've volunteered with many surgical mission groups, and this is by far my favorite. It is well organized, has a focused mission, and donations go directly to patient care. They do as much as possible with every donation - nothing is wasted. Most importantly - they don't just fly in, create chaos, and leave the locals to "figure things out" (like many well-meaning groups do), but rather spend a lot of time with the locals so they can take care of their own over time.
