Review for Services for Brain Injury, San Jose, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I brought my husband to SBI at the point that insurance stopped paying to rehabilitate him from a severe brain injury and stroke. I discovered there is no where else in the Bay Area to get the kind of rehab that SBI offers. They provided my husband with programs for personal and social readjustment -- he was anti-social and difficult to interact with. Once he got past that, he went through SBI's vocational training. SBI also places their clients in jobs and provides coaches so clients stay employed. What a huge relief that there was someplace to take my husband for this kind of help. It wasn't a perfect recovery path for him but he is happy now and has a part-time job and is fully independent. I never would have thought that was possible and neither did his doctors. The staff at SBI is dedicated and very skilled. It is a unique facility that provides the most critical rehab which gets people get back to living their lives. I was impressed and very grateful.
