Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
WeSpark is the most loving, beautiful and generous place! i absolutely LOVE providing services for everyone here. it is this exceptional haven for so many on their healing journeys. the value of being seen, understood, loved, supported, and provided for as a whole being (and not just a disease) cannot be overestimated. it is totally heart-centered and not remotely clinical. i recommend WeSpark to people i meet all the time. it is a privilege to work here.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the gratitude the guests have for this unique and nurturing space.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
establish more direct relationships with area hospitals. (i might just be unaware of them, i don't get to see how the rest of the org is run)
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
hearing how my work is helping someone get through their journey with more optimism, grace, trust, and peace.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing, heart-centered people.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand into other areas of the state, provide more services and classes, and perhaps have their methods studied and implemented as important aspects of cancer treatment.
Ways to make it better...
i could be here more days of the week (financially not feasible).
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
establishing a strong yet heart-centered leadership (though a new committee is now in place so this might be it!), and a streamlined communication system.
One thing I'd also say is that...
it is a real privilege to be affiliated with WeSpark. i am very proud of all that they do.
