I was privileged to see first hand the work for clean water and sanitation that World Class-Ghana is doing in villages near Accra. There is no question that important needs of local people are being met. Just as importantly, local people lead the way to the production of a new well or latrine. World Class is very respectful of the opinions and needs of the people they serve. Anyone who supports World Class-Ghana can be sure their efforts are making a positive difference in the lives of very poor people.

World Class is an incredible organization. I really felt like I was very involved from the moment I made my donation. This organization puts their heart and soul into this cause- and it is contagious! Water for bathing and consumption is a right that we take for granted... this charity works to enforce this basic human right!

I was a founding member of World Class with my 1971 graduating class at Skidmore College. I have found the work accomplished to be significant to the recipients and rewarding to the donors. The strengthening of society through providing for basic needs, like clean water, sanitation and the ability to support one's family are key to all.

During the summer of 1969, I traveled extensively in Africa with a group of students who had taken a course in African Studies and were witnessing first-hand some of what they had studied. The trip was illuminating in many ways, among them giving us a clear sense of the hardships in the lives of so many Africans, hardships that include, conspicuously, water availability and quality. When I learrned of World Class, I thought their mission admirable, but I was not certain that they would be able to sustain the commitment and drive necessary to have a chance to meet that mission. I needn't have worried: The founders have shown admirable resolve, and the organization has already made significant changes in the lives of many in Ghana, through wells built and planned, through low-cost loans to women, through training of local staff. I supported this organization initially to help it get off the ground; I support it now because I know that it is doing good work, and that it will continue to do so.

With very little money, this group of women friends are helping the poor in Ghana. With emphasis on clean water, job skills, and sanitation.
Their administration is all volunteer.

World Class Ghana is exceptional in the work it does, accomplishing so much with small resources. The organization also informs its donors often and effectively as to what is being done. They have grown from small beginnings and I am glad to have given to them. They also are very appreciative of what is given and do not resort to high pressure methods.

I feel the goals of this organization are very worthy, providing assistance to Ghanian people in obtaining access to a critical resource, clean water. I have heard very good things about how World Class is managed.

I became aware of World Class several years ago and upon learning more about the organization from the founders my wife and I decided to make a donation to support their efforts. Since that first connection we have seen the progress and have been most impressed. Tangible results are reported through periodic newsletters and emails. Pictures have shown the water projects as well as the basic sanitation projects. I have had phone conversations with the founders and understand their passion. Having just returned from Tanzania, I can better appreciate the work that World Class is doing. Our donations have increased each year and we are proud to be affiliated with World Class.

World Class-Ghana Inc. concentrates on providing clean water and sanitation for villages within Ghana that so deperately need these basic necessities. The funding has come predominently from donations of individuals. A few dedicated members of our college graduating class saw a need and have worked long and hard to help the people in Ghana to have a fighting chance at basic life services. The organization is small and all donations go directly to the cause.

Have gotten to know one of the founders of this organization and am impressed with her dedication to the effort to provide safe drinking water to very needy populations. These populations can't move forward until this basic need is met and this organization is making great strides in fulfilling this need in communities.

I am a member of the class of 1971 at Skidmore College and helped to bring speakers to our 35th reunion on micro lending in Ghana. We learned the needs of the women there and worked on a plan to help. I am proud to be a donor to World Class-Ghana. The work the group has done in a short period of time has enhanced the lives of many. It started with micro lending to women and grew to digging wells and creating latrines in poor villages. This helps the whole village rather than just a few.

I am proud to be a partner in World Class Ghana. I have watched with great joy as the efforts of this group have become realities . . . Funding to the entrepreneurs of Ammasaman and now water and sanitation to the surrounding communities. I am also pleased to know that because it is an all volunteer effort, the funds acquired by World Class are all used to support the goals of bringing better health and happiness to our Ghanaian partners.

World Class-Ghana is one of the most positive and successful organizations that I have been involved with. The people directly involved with administering the funds for the wells and sanitation facilities, as well as the micro-lending are extremely organized and are very good at relaying information and progress to all of us. We have proof of the success of our donations and their work. The women who work directly with the people in the villages have sent us many photographs, journals, etc. We know just what's going on and it makes us feel more connected to the progress. Being a part of World-class Ghana has been a wonderful experience.

I am so very proud of the women and fellow classmates who gave birth to World Class. Providing clean water and sanitation to a deveoping community is essential. To actually be able to see the results of people's donations and selfless hard work is so very rewarding. With a low overhead and minimal administrative costs you know that our donations are being used for their intended purpose.

Of all the nonprofits I have been involved with, mostly as a donor, I have never seen one take off so quickly and be so effective in so short at time as World Class-Ghana. It's a combination of the right outreach program at the right time for a bunch of college classmates looking to honor their years together in a meaningful way, and the unbelievable energy, commitment and vision of Judy Willsey.

This very efficient and effective organization accomplishes a great deal with a small budget. Their focus is on water and sanitation issues which are fundamental to human health priorities in any society.
