I volunteer at The West Place Animal Sanctuary which has developed into a very rewarding experience for me! Having never been around large animals (Horses)etc.. this was something I overcame and thrive on feeding, cleaning and being with them now! Interacting with animals and other personnel there has really broaden my horizons! it gives a special feeling to assist in the operation of this non-profit and a sense of fulfillment in participating! West Place is a gorgeous animal sanctuary that lends it help to both furred and feathered animals in need. I have been volunteering at West Place for the past two years and could not be happier! The founder, other volunteers, and (of course) all of the friendly animals welcome you as part of the family and appreciate any help you can give. Even if you are not looking for a volunteer or internship position, definitely arrange a tour of West Place Animal Sanctuary to check out all of the great work they do!

Want to make a difference in the lives of animals ? West Place is the place to apply your kindness. Wendy and Tom are great folks that work hard to make W. P. a comfortable and safe sanctuary for the tenants both temporary and permanent to survive and thrive.
We started helping here about a year ago and have loved every second of it. Animals know when you are helping and show their love, even Bobert :>)who I call the leader of the alpaca herd. Well, I could go on and on with so many more stories that lift my heart.
You should check it out lend a hand, donate, this is a good cause., good for the sole.
