Mission: The mission of The Washington County Humane Society is to protect animals from suffering and cruelty, to provide care for animals afflicted by neglect and abandonment, and to enhance the lives of animals and people through education, adoption and compassion.
Target demographics: homeless animals of Washington County
Geographic areas served: Slinger, WI

We offer many services from dog training to euthanasia and crematory services. WCHS strives to help all the homeless animals that walk through their doors ... it is a place where second chances happen every day.
We initially learned of the Washington County Humane Society when we adopted a kitten from them about 3 years ago - we were very impressed with the shelter and the people that worked there. About 6 months ago we started volunteering at the shelter socializing the cats. The staff are very knowledgeable about the animals and care deeply for them. The staff and volunteers are hardworking and caring - we're truly amazed at the level of cooperation, professionalism and commitment everyone at WCHS exhibits. Great organization and great people.
