Mission: The village net is a private, non-profit, international organization whose mission is to foster self-sufficiency, thriving sustainability, and capacity building to respond to the economic, health, education, environment, and energy needs of marginalized, underserved women, their families, and their villages in sub-sahara africa.
Programs: Partner with existing women's groups in african villages to empower poor, economically active women in their efforts to achieve personal, family and village sustainability. We work in the area of finance, education, health and basic human needs (food, water, power, sanitation) as prioritized by the village women. Microlending programs to 600 impoverished women with businesses in ofankor (ghana), in mwaani (kenya), and in suswa (kenya).
