Turning Point Center has been in my neighborhood for years. Ive never had any problems from the folks that live there. I think those old folks are alright . They deserve your help . When i get old i might need a place like that the way social security is going

The people here are very happy and this place actually shows them how to get back on their feet again. They go through steps to keep them safe and on the right track. They also are fed 3 meals a day, very good ones at that!

I am always happy to help, but sometimes am not sure what I can do to help. I noticed how much little jobs were appreciated and needed here, it gave me ideas and inspiration to find new ways to help out.

I brought a group of youths for a trip with our church youth group. The staff at Turning Point is well organized and very very friendly. They were very attentive to our group and we spent many hours just spending time with the seniors and talking to them!

Our group came and spent time with the people living there and had fun playing bingo. This was my first trip with our group and I will be back!

The first time I visited the center, to place my brother, I was impressed with the practical approach administered there. Seeing bus schedules hanging on the office wall told me that these people knew what their clients needed. This was a small thing to an outsider but someone without transportation would find them essential.
Later I found the staff took a genuine interest in the success of each client. Everyone is treated as an individual with their needs being accessed and then dealt with.

Spent today at Turning Point Center l for our annual Volunteer Day. The turnout among the three different groups that attended was pretty great and, despite the crazy far away location, I had a really nice time. My group worked in the dry room, unpacking three HUMONGOUS boxes of Corn Flakes in order to make them into 8oz bags to be distributed.
