Mission: Engaging the people of the United States to bring hope to those living in poverty and those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Programs: Short term missions trips (from two weeks to several months) to south africa for usa resident individuals to assist and serve persons with hiv/aids, the poor and those in need. Foreign grants are given to organized, in-country welfare and assistance programs. Approximately 40 individuals participated in these in-country endeavors in 2014, in addition to two individuals residing in cape town area, south africa.
The management of this nonprofit is one of the more sustainable projects I have been associated with. The whole idea is to come alongside and teach them how to fish, to help supply the bottom level of Mazrow's hierarchy, to offer safety while this community find their feet and raise the level of hope. The love that they give to this community and its youth and little ones especially is priceless and the number of lives changed and the overall development of the community is evident and tangible
