Results: The Vision Haiti Foundation is a US 501(c)3 IRS non profit firm. We have an establised office in the Montana hills below Petionville and have staffed our board of directors and country advisors. We have a completed business plan, a business model, architectural plans and an Impact study. All avalable for preview by interested parties.
Target demographics: An education through Haiti Tech favors students ages from15-25 years old. However, Haitians older than 25 will also be encouraged to apply.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Once in full operation, each Haiti Tech campus can graduate 320 students every year. Each local community wll benefit through direct involvement from our first day on site. We will hire locals to assist us not only in the construction of the Institute but in the future costruction of The 10 planned adjacent villages ( Village Du Soleil ) to be built in part by the students.
Geographic areas served: Eight Haitian cities will have Haiti Tech campuses: Jacmel, Gonaives, Anse-A-Veau, Les Cayes, Port-de-Paix, Cap Haitiene, Hinche, Port-au-Prince.
Programs: I. Haiti Tech Vocational School II. Village Du Soleil is a Haiti based, for profit, housing development to be built by Haiti Tech students and located near each campus. Initially used for hands on training, then made available for sale as homes for graduates and local families. III. AVHA-SA- A Work force development company, will functon as a placement firm contracting with local and international businesses to secure employment for Haiti Tech graduates. IV. Radio Vision - Internet Radio Station
