Mission: The Gay Christian Network (GCN) is the preeminent interdenominational organization supporting LGBT Christians and those who love them. GCN provides resources and support to help individuals reconcile their faith and sexuality, builds interconnected networks of supportive Christian communities, and works with families, friends, and churches to create respectful dialogue on sexual orientation issues. GCN is best known for its moderated online "safe space" community, where over 13,000 people offer one another support, prayer, fellowship, and understanding in an affirming faith-based environment. This crucial support outlet is available to anyone in the world with an internet connection and regularly saves the lives of teens and adults alike. GCN's weekly podcast, YouTube video series, and Bible study materials educate and inspire gay and straight Christians around the world, while the organization's annual conference, welcoming church network, and local groups provide important face-to-face opportunities for worship, support, and community. GCN's groundbreaking new documentary, Through My Eyes, chronicles the interactions of conservative churches and gay Christian youth and is already changing hearts and minds in the church in a profound way to promote the full support of LGBT people.

GCN is a fabulous resource for LGBT (and questioning) people who are also Christian. Joining GCN has given me access to many people who have a great idea of what it means to be gay and Christian. I have received wonderful advice from GCN users and I have also been able to give advice of my own. GCN also has allowed me to meet new friends. Best of all, GCN has allowed me to make prayer requests and offer prayer for people in need.

When i first came out as a Gay Christian, my life was falling apart. My parents looked down at me, my friends thought I was insane, even my church kicked me out. But the GCN helped me along, the people are the best, the workers and volunteers are so helpful and the owner.. well words can't describe how much he's helped put my mind and spirit at ease.

GCN provides a truly unique and desperately needed service to the LGBT community and it's allies. There are few organizations that provide the level of support and community that I have experienced with GCN. They are saving and changing lives daily with the way they are serving this community!

Before finding GCN I was having a hard time reconciling my faith with my sexuality. I'd embrace one part of who I was, and ignore the other to try and fit into what every community I was in at the moment. It was crazy. The friendships I have made at GCN have let me embrace myself as a whole human being... one who is Christian and gay.

I am a Christian gay man that has struggled with how this could be for 27 years. I came across The Gay Christian Network after coming to the end of my rope so to speak. I found there a community of people just like me! I found many interesting articles that helped me tremendously on my journey to accepting myself and realizing that I am accepted by God.

This organization offers hope, encouragement, and affirmation to those children of God disenfranchised by the Church. They make the concept of "What would Jesus do?" more than just an idea - they MAKE IT A REALITY by inclusiveness and acceptance of ALL Christians.

Good organization. This is a bunch of BS going through all of these hoops and hurdles.

Since I became a member of Gay Christian Network (GCN), their mission-mindedness has rejuvenated my faith and services to humanity. The Organization has reached out to so many people in and outside the country who are being marginalized, discriminated and bullied because of whom they are. They're working hard to give hope to the hopeless, help to the helpless, home to the homeless and love to the hated just because of their sex orientatation. This is mission in practice. I owe them every thing good for their growth and expansion.

GCN has really given me a circle of friends that truly understand and support me in the things I'm going through. They reach out and help others with no kind of expectations for anything in return.

When I learned that my son had discovered he is gay, I was concerned for his belief in God. GCN helped me to see that gays can definitely be Christian!

GNC is the only christian non profit orginisation in the world that seemed to excist on the internet. Being a citizen of Germany, it was not possible for me to communicate with any other GLBT Christians in my city. With GCN, I am connected to others who believe and want to make a difference in the lives of young members of the GLBT society.

My family ws not very supportive, and being able to realise that there are other GLBT christians, who even would like to help and contact me, really changed my life. Dialogue is very important for someone in a depressive situation like I found myself in.

Through the DVD "Through my eyes" (a project of the GCNetwork), I was able to open the eyes of those in my direct surroundings, conscerning the GLBT youth, and esspecially the views of christians in the matter of homosexuality.

This site would be missed, if ever it would not excist anymore.

When I first came to the site, I was expecting a lot of people who didn't know what they were talking about. But as I read the blogs and forum posts I realized that all these people here had answers and I saw a bigger picture of who Christ is through it.

GCN has been an instrument of GOD for me to reconcile my faith and sexuality and eventually unlearn and learn the truth about homosexuality

GCN has been on the front line for those of us who have been alienated from our major denominations with a welcoming and helpful presence. They are showing us that God truly loves us just as we are.

GCN has been a very important part of my life for over two years now. I love the faith community that is found in the forums. It is a way for gay Christians to find affirmation in others and that it IS possible to be both gay and Christian. In my opinion, it better helps us to seek God's will when we can live our lives authentic and whole by being who we were created to be.

I have no experience in particular. I am living in UK London and Couldn't meet up any Christian gay people yet. I really wish to do so.
However, I didn't give up. I am still hoping that I will find someone on this site who can help me to get contact with Londoner gay Christian guys.

It has been tough since I became a Christian as a gay. GCN provides a good platform for me to understand more about myself, my faith and my understanding of Christianity. I also have to chance to meet other gay Christian friends to encourage each other. I know this is a place where I could go to when I have difficulties.

There is a need that has been growing in our public for quite sometime and GCN fills this need so wonderfully. MANY individuals who are marginalized for either being gay or being a Christian have found a home here. I have yet to get really involved, but am so thankful for the resources and support that GCN provides. A couple of years ago I think I would have really lost myself had it not been for GCN

A great organisation for learning more about what it means to be a Gay Christian, with plenty of access to information and support. Also a great place for meeting and networking - online, in chat, via events. A real community for people who face a struggle on all sides.
