This organization repairs incontinence caused by prolonged and obstructed labor thereby restoring a woman's dignity and facilitating her return to a normal family life.
This is an amazing organization that helps women restore their lives. I learned about this medical condition in a NYT article that mentioned the Fistula Foundation, and I found my way to their website. I knew immediately that I wanted to help. I love the updates they send about how our contributions are making a difference. I will continue to donate to this great foundation!
I'm a Fistula survivor and am working on self-growth after suffering in silence for 5 years. The Fistula Foundation is an amazing Nonprofit and I hope to empower women one day and be able to donate more and get the courage to own my journey. This is a mentally debilitating problem for women and I thank the organization for spreading the word and bringing awareness to Fistulas.
I have been donating for years. I really love their mission, and believe they make a difference in the lives of women world wide.
I strongly recommend this organisation which is doing invaluable and transformative work helping women who have endured the physical and psychological agony of an obstetrical fistula. There is transparency of administration and funds are used responsibly. They keep me updated by email on monthly developments and share individual stories that put faces to those suffering from this condition. I am pleased to support this charity with a monthly donation and encourage others to do so. Every dollar has a very direct impact on a woman's life in multiple ways.
Touched by a story in NY Times some years ago about the fantastic work this organization does for women in dire need.Have contributed regular small donations to help the cause.
I have so much respect for Fistula Foundation and the life changing work they do. As a long time donor and supporter I am 100% confident that my donations are actually making an impact and being used appropriately and effectively.
This is a superb agency dealing with such a serious and under-recognized problem. Worthy of support!
I have been supporting the Fistila Foundation for nearly 10 years. Their cause is worthy, their impact is verifiable and they keep overhead and fundraising expenses to a minimum so money can be dedicated to helping women prevent and treat this imminently treatable malady.
I have been giving enough money for one surgery every year in honor of my mother on Mother's Day ever since Nicholas Kristof first suggested the idea in the NewYork Times. I have followed the organization's work closely and am always impressed. Each of these surgeries gives a woman back her dignity and her life. It is hard to imagine a better way to spend your money!!!!!!! Once you know about the Fistula Foundation's work, it is hard to turn away from the opportunity to help.
