The feeling I got when I visited the Swan center , is one of a place working for a future understanding of the importance of contact between man and animals in general , not just horses . The benefits , regarding the understanding of our sensitivity and our empathy with others , are huge since the first hour you interact with those horses , because in so many ways they are like sensitive human beings and the Center teaches you how to use your energy in the accurate and addecuate way with them . In this interactions I happened to discover interesting things about myself that I use to this day . If you are somebody that understands how important inner personal growth and understanding of oneself is for life , then you should participate of the Swan Center experience .It can change your life .

Swan Center Outreach is a sanctuary for all who come together here. I get tremendous satisfaction when I leave the barn and can hear tails swish and happy munching. There is such a sense of peace. I know the horses have helped me far more than I have helped them. BTW Rowdy is a snuggler so if you've never been snuggled by a horse, it is a worthwhile experience.

In a recent visit to the new facility in Castaic, CA, I was happy to see our friends so happy and healthy. And along with my assurance of Animals as Teachers, Healers & Friends, I was indeed...taught, and healed and loved. A commitment to growing in self awareness and spiritual awareness means being on the lookout for the next advancement in growth. In this case, I had King to thank for being a great partner and teacher, gaining an understanding of what looking out for the whole was really all about...thanks buddy...

Witnessing the powerful, positive transformations so many children, young adults and adults have experienced over the years at the Swan Center Outreach ranch is much greater than words can describe. The smiles, laughter, happiness and joy so many gain from just one visit to the ranch is a sight to behold, and certainly touches my heart.

I would like to personally thank every volunteer for all their support!!

I have been a board member of Swan Center outreach for many years and have experienced their wonderful programs with our beautiful horses,. that we have rescued and saved from abuse. We have helped people of all ages gain knowledge about themselves by learning and riding and being part of our workshops with horses. I highly recommend these programs.

A place where miracles do happen! Humans can learn compassion, patience, kindness and unconditional love. Where horses become our teachers, healers and friends! This was my first experience with horses at this level over 30 years ago. Please support this life changing organization.

Swan Center Outreach has been loving and caring for animals since 1987. All decisions regarding our animals are made with their best interests at heart. We are going to great lengths to ensure the best quality transportation and care for our animals on the road. The life threatening health issue of one of our founders has caused us to relocate out of the high altitude of Colorado. We feel strongly that our animals (some who are older) will fair much better in the sunny state of California. We are interested in continuing the spiritual focus of our organization and as such felt that the move to California would be in the best interest of our animals as well as our organization. We have appreciated all of the volunteers in Colorado and hope that your lives were changed for the better as a result of supporting our organization! Thank you for all your efforts!

It is sad to have some people think that all they did was not appreciated because it was deeply; every volunteer, for every single hour they spent, for every donation made, those not there in person, were grateful beyond words. The person who wrote the programs, who rescued the horses and who loves them deeply could not survive in the altitude any longer. The horses and the loving way they have been handled will continue teaching children and adults in a climate kinder to their advancing years. Things change, people change, but never the love and care the Swan Center has for their charges both two legged and four legged.

Wow! Hard to believe, twenty-five years ago I was mucking the stalls of rescued horses and volunteering my help with their life changing programs. Now I'm a Board Member of Swan Center Outreach and my love and admiration for this organization for all it accomplishes for individuals and the community it serves, continues to grow. One visit is all it takes for anyone to fall in love with this very special organization.

What a privilege it is to be a part of Swan Center Outreach which affects so many in such a positive and healing way. When you read their Mission Statement and the programs offered you'll understand the depth of their commitment to excellence in working with people of all ages. I have seen the changes on the faces of the children as they reach potential they were not even aware they had. Joy is a beautiful thing to see on the faces of children and it is seen every day at Swan Center Outreach.
