Programs: Held the 14th annual sustainability and green building awards event to highlight those in the community who demonstrate a dedication to the long-term health and well-being of the county. The 2013 event drew 250 attendees and celebrated 8 award winners.
in may 2013, the organization published the 17th annual edition of the "indicators for a sustainable san mateo county" report and held a launch luncheon to discuss the reports findings.

Sustainable San Mateo County works in a number ways to engage and inform residents, businesses and elected official about sustainability. The outstanding annual Indicator's Report is the go to tool for data on the social, economic and environmental health of the county.
