Mission: The mission of the Support Network for Battered Women is to empower our diverse community to live free of domestic violence.
Results: FY07-08 Statistics In FY 07-08, Support Network staff and volunteers answered 6,208 crisis calls and sheltered 247 women and children. Our agency assisted 1,132 clients and 16,235 counseling and case management sessions, and provided 7,683 advocacy, information, and referral services.

Programs: Support Network's services include a confidential, emergency shelter housing 18-24 women and children in crisis, the county's only toll-free, 24-hour, bilingual (English/Spanish) hotline, individual and group therapy, counseling, legal services including court accompaniment, children and teen programs, community outreach and preventative education. La Familia is a growing, innovative, culturally competent program targeted to the Latino community through which we work to keep families united while ending domestic violence. All direct service staff are culturally competent and 83% bilingual (English/Spanish). For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, we answered over 5,400 crisis calls, sheltered 245 women and children and assisted 795 clients with 9,400 counseling and 2,965 advocacy and referral services.
