Mission: To provide year-round sports training and competition programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Recently the organization has partnered with 21 of the state's 24 school districts to add special olympics unified sports to thier (continued on sch. O) interscholastic sports programs, to help those districts comply with the 2008 maryland fitness and athletics equity for students with disabilities act.
Programs: Provide year-round athletic games and competition programs for children and adults of maryland with intellectual disabilities. The organization received $469,099 of donated supplies, materials, and services associated with the games and competition.
