I was able to volunteer in the childcare center for a semester and I'm so glad I did! This program is the only one I know of that focuses on the skills necessary to truly be successful in the real world. Other programs around the county seem to just put a band aid on the problems homeless families face. By working with these families from the bottom up, Solutions for Change really is the solution! I look forward to what else they are able to accomplish throughout the county, and maybe country!

I've had many opportunities to volunteer with our youth group feeding and caring for the families. We have always left feeling that we were the blessed ones! The leadership and structure of the organization, the love shared by staff and volunteers, and the committment made by the families members that call or have called SFC home are the successful elements that make SFC's program not just a quick fix, rather a place dedicated to providing positive, life altering solutions.

What an amazing organization that always keeps giving. I enjoy reading and seeing pictures of the men and woman at work to conquer this quest of helping one another. This is the true meaning of greatness!

Solutions for Change solves homelessness for many families by giving a hand UP! As a Girl Scout leader, my troop served meals and made welcome bags for the homeless children as part of their Silver Award. They filled the bags, including stuffed animals that were a BIG hit! This experience was eye-opening for the girls, and I couldn't have been more proud of their efforts. I spoke to some of the residents, and their stories were uplifting. KUDOS to Solutions for Change for making a huge difference for so many children and their parents!

One of the staff members came to help recruit volunteers at our mercy fair. She was so poised and professional that I never would have known that she was a graduate of the Solutions for Change program. Once a homeless mom, she now manages the aquaponics farm at Solutions for Change. Such amazing stories come out of this program and our church is privileged to be a partner and send volunteers and financial support regularly.
