I have been a member of this support group since its beginning. It has been a wonderful experience for me since my diagnosis. I know my family loves me but they cannot understand how it feels to go through breast cancer, no matter how they try. Being a part of a group of women who can totally relate to what you are talking about is such an inspiration. Everyone is very upbeat and excited about life. We continuously lift each others spirits (sometimes we even cry together, but we do not make that a habit). When new women come to the group they are welcomed with open arms and know that they are not alone!

Sistah's Surviving Breast Cancer (SSBC) provided support through personal testimonies, referrals, education, community volunteer/activities, and sistah communication. I appreciate their ongoing efforts to raise awareness in our community and thank SSBC for their services.
