I interacted with the volunteers of Zesa/Sanlaap NA on numerous occassions. I have also donated to the cause because of how touched I was with the work they were doing and progress they were making. This organization does phenomenal work and I personally hope to volunteer with them to help make a difference
Sanlaap NA has come such a long way in such a short amount of time. I'm very proud to be a donor and advocate of their work. What stands out most to me is their passion and commitment to really make an impact on the ground, an impact that is felt and experienced by the girls they are working to save. I trust what they do and how they do it, which is particularly important for me as a donor. I look forward to continue supporting their work and to see how expansive they become in the years to come.
I am inspired and moved by the transformative work that Sanlaap North America is doing. Its commitment to save the lives of young girls forced into the horrors of child-sex trafficking in and prostitution in India is so huge and so palpable. Their work is transformative specifically because they are skilled in creating new possibilities for their girls and their lives. Plus, you know an organization means serious business when 99% of its funds go directly to the girls themselves! That speaks volumes. I've attended several fundraising events, and not only are they well-attended and well-organized, but they also do an excellent job in raising awareness within the general public about this global epidemic. I will continue to be a proud supporter of Sanlaap.
I have been following Sanlaap NA for some time now and have seen the impact they have made on the girls they help to rescue and rehabilitate. It is truly remarkable.
Sanlaap is an incredibly inspiring organization. Sanlaap's work and mission is honorable and heart-warming. They are making major strides to bring attention to a major world problem and help rescue and rebuild the lives and spirits of so many young girls.
Sanlaap NA is a great organization that supports a noble mission. I attended an event hosted by Sanlaap NA recently in NYC, and I commend the board members for their ability to generate such a large turnout to spread awareness for their cause. Human trafficking is a real issue across the world and one that doesn't receive enough attention. I highly recommend this organization for their dedication and I look forward to future events.
I had the pleasure of attending an event sponsored by Sanlaap NA, and it opened my eyes to the widespread issue of human trafficking. The stories shared were heart-wrenching, and have definitely peaked my awareness of this tragic reality. Saanlap NA uses the money donated to fund shelter, food, clothing, medication and education for women and children who are victims of trafficking. The founders are extremely passionate about the cause, and do a great job spreading awareness and educating the public about the injustice of human trafficking. I highly recommend becoming involved in this organization, as it serves to protect basic human rights.
I attended a fundraising event in nyc and Sanlaap did an excellent job in bringing awareness about human trafficking. I would continue to support this non-profit and I hope they continue to organize events that would further help this cause.
Sanlaap Na is a very inspiring nonprofit. I attended Sanlaap Na's fundraiser in April and was astounded by the creative yet hard-hitting video they showed in order to spread awareness about human trafficking. I want to start my own nonprofit because of them!
Sanlaap North America is a truly compassionate and highly effective organization. They are doing such important work by fighting against human trafficking and sex slavery in India. The organizers behind this wonderful charity are competent, capable, motivated and compassionate in their work and have been incredibly effective and successful in just their first few years of existence. As a donor I'm at ease knowing that almost all of the money collected (99%) goes to helping these girls through shelter, education and rehabilitation. I will definitely continue to support Sanlaap for years to come.
Sanlaap is an absolutely amazing organization that sheds light on human trafficking in South and Southeast Asia and that works extremely hard to help teach these girls girls skills that will help them to stand up on their own two feet to escape their awful pasts. Sanlaap gives them a new home and the ability to better themselves and to value their own lives. The video that was shown at the Sanlaap Event at 1Oak on 3/23/2013 was extremely moving because it shows how far these girls and women (who were previously in the sex trade) have come thanks to the amazing leadership of Sanlaap. In addition, the fact that 99% of the donations reach the girls and only 1% used for events is extremely impressive.
Sanlaap NA is an incredible nonprofit organization that shed light on an issue I was had very little knowledge regarding. The organization is making enormous strides in giving young girls a voice by providing education and the necessary resources to allow them to be independent, more confident in themselves and self-sufficient. I'm thoroughly impressed by the organizations hard work and dedication in raising awareness for their cause. The members are passionate and its shows through there hard work. I look forward to attending more events and pledging more to the powerful cause.
What is impressive about Sanlaap NA is that they have been able to use the great majority of donated funds to actually improving the lives of women who have otherwise been disregarded by their communities. One can feel proud to contribute to such a worthy cause when you hear the personal stories of those who have benefited from this organization.
Sanlaap NA is an amazing organization, making a real difference in the lives of women and girls in Southeast Asia. Unlike many nonprofits, Sanlaap NA only uses 1% of their proceeds towards expenses allowing them to make a significant and long-lasting impact in the movement against trafficking. It is inspiring to see such a passionate board and group of volunteers working so hard to further their mission.
Sanlaap is a great organization that has quickly spread the word about this worthwhile cause. The board members are hard working, dedicated, and extremely motivated to help these women in India.
Sunlaap just doesn't just provide shelter to victims, it teaches girls how to be independent and important members of society thereafter. Dependence is a large part of constant victimization and Sunlaap not only recognizes that, it acts to break that chain by teaching these girls skills and possible employment to support themselves.
I have seen this charity grow over the last 3 years with the continued efforts of the board members who are truly dedicated to the cause. Sanlaap NA has made a huge difference in the lives of many girls in India.
It is quite impressive what Sanlaap has been able to do in India. They are a well run, transparent, and organized group, accomplishing much with efficient resource allocation. I would highly recommend anyone to invest their time and money working with this group. They are truly making differences for people who desperately need it.
Sanlaap NA is a great organization that is raising awareness within North America about victims of trafficking. Their board members and volunteers are very passionate and continue growing the organization. The organization provides full transparency as to where the donations are used. I hope this organization continues to grow and continue impacting change.
Sanlaap NA is unique in many ways but two reasons particularly come to mind. 1) As many reviewers have already mentioned, they provide full transparency to how their funds are used and utilize almost 100% towards building homes and education facilities for the women in need. 2) Sanlaap NA is unafraid to bring to light the brutalities these women face in their everyday lives. Without truly hearing their experiences, donors remain involved at a surface level. I think that in exposing and allowing these women to tell their stories without censoring the truth, the process of donating becomes an education tool for everyone involved.
