Mission: (a) Teach, promote, and articulate Chinese language, literature, art, culture, and history, primarily by establishing a learning environment with a regularly scheduled curriculum and systematic instruction for interested students.
(b) Help new Chinese immigrant families easy their transition into the US education system and immerse into American mainstreams.
(c) Promote understanding between Chinese and other ethnic groups.
(d) Help consolidate the position of Chinese immigrant and increase the influence of Chinese in USA.
(e) Prepare the next generation with skills to make greater contributions to the world.
Geographic areas served: San Diego, Southern California, and Tijuana, BC, Mexico
Programs: Over 720 students at two campuses are enrolled in learning simplified chinese characters,alphabet and other related chinese language teaching. With the efforts of the board of directors, school management, teachers, staff and parents over 60 classes have been offered.
Huaxia is the largest Chinese teaching school in San Diego. They provide professional Chinese teaching experience that you can find nowhere else. If you want to learn serious Chinese, this is the place to go. My kids all go there on the weekends.
This is a great Chinese School and was recently honored to be selected as one of the first 55 "Overseas Chinese Education Model Schools" around the world.
