Nonprofit Overview

Mission: Our Mission is simple. To provide "forever homes" to birds in need. Abused, neglected, uncared for or just can't be taken care of anymore birds are our focus. These beuatiful creatures live up to One Hundred (100) human years! They deserve the respect, love and care we can give them. After all, they didn't ask to be here for our amusement.

Geographic areas served: We serve San Diego and the surrounding areas. But if a bird is need, and not in our area, we will do our best to help or put the owner in touch with a group that may be closer to them

Programs: We speak, lecture, tour and educate the public 4-5 times per week. We visit Children's Hospitals, Schools, Senior Homes etc.

As you can see the negative remarks are done by the same person. Must be a relationship gone bad! The important thing is that these birds are taken care of and by everyone making donations it will only help support good health and home placement. If people do not donate then it becomes difficult to keep them well. Having space, food and vet bills are high. Do not listen to the scorned woman because what is important is that the volunteers keep helping and someone who runs the company needs to live as well. Please donate for these wonderful birds so that they can all end up in good homes!! Also, there are a lot of people who have birds and neglect them. When they get some of these birds they are abused and sick and ready to die. thank God there is someone who is doing everything he can to make sure that they are kept safe and fed.

I work in the Public sector and have seen many orginizations over the years. These folks are die hard animal lovers and do whatever it takes to make sure they are safe, healthy and very happy! A friend adopted a bird from there last year and has nothing but gawesome things to say about them. They offered classes, hands on time with the adopting family to ensure a great fit. Bravo!
