Thank you Red Rover for helping my kitten Clay get the surgery he needed! Clay had swallowed a string from the blinds in my kitchen, as well as the plastic piece at the end! Red Rover donated money to help him get the surgery to remove it, and just in time too! We almost lost him! He is doing better now!! The 1st picture is the string and plastic piece they took out! The 2nd picture is Clay and his sister Jemma!
I was fortunate to find Redrover after being told our pitbull needed emergency surgery. He had eaten a sock which got stuck in his stomach. The surgery was estimated at over $3,000, which s pretty tough to come up with unexpectedly. After contacting about 15 non profits claiming to help with emergencies like this, Redrover was the only one that stepped up and did help us. It helped bridged the gap so we could save our baby.
Thank you Redrover :)
My name is Brian, and I am a proud owner of a Beautiful Blonde Silky Terrier named, Little Shirley Shamrock. Shirley was diagnosed with a Golfball size stone in her Bladder, with the possibility of her bladder rupturing, and killing her... With only day before this kind of thing happening, and Little Shirley needing an emergency operation to remove this stone, and with no other place to turn, I heard of a place called RedRover, that maybe able to help me with the Vet bill, that was way out of my reach, due to being Low-income. Towards the end, I was told that if, I did love my little Shirley Shamrock, that I would just have to have put her down to stop her suffering. Before this would happen, I would do anything. So I sent a request to RedRover and told them about Shirley, and her needs . RedRover responed to my request the next day, and to my surprise RedRover sent a check to the Vet Hospital, and my Little Shirley got the surgery that she so badly need. Thank You RedRover.

A while back I found out that one of my dogs had a tooth absess and needed to be operated on. Being withou funds and in an emergency is not a place I deserve on my worse enemies. But I'm glad I was able to turn to Red Rover. In no time they helped me out and my dog got the operation she needed. Thanks, Red Rover!
Excellent nonprofit and service! They were there for me and my dog Piper when we didn't have anyone else. They turned my desperation into hope. Red Rover was my angel when I was in need.
My dog Bella needed an urgent surgery to remove two massive stones within her bladder. I inquired to Redrover for assistance, and applied. The next day I was called back with concern for my puppy and the steps needed to get approved for funding. Laurel who dealt with my case was very compassionate kind and worked hard to help me out. I got funding quickly to help with the surgery cost and my experience with Redrover went smoothly. I am grateful in my hour of need to help my Bella whom I have had for 8 years Redrover was thanks to Laurel. Great organization and when I am financially stable again I will definitely pay it forward and donate!
I will forever be a fan & advocate for Redrover. I submitted a request for assistance after a visit with the vet on a Saturday, they called me on the following Monday and pledged assistance on Tuesday. Redrover has been a God send for Eddie & me. I don't know what I would have done without their prompt support. Rachel was caring and empathic to our situation. Thank you Redrover we are eternally grateful.
The RedRover Relief Program assisted one of the residents of our Urban Resource Institute with sheltering her pet safely after a surgical procedure and until a pet-friendly apartment became available at one of our domestic violence shelters. The pet needed to heal away from a life-threatening environment and thanks to RedRover, the pet was boarded at a local veterinary clinic. The pet was also able to receive the proper food needed and to be monitored by caring veterinary staff for over a month.
The family was filled with joy to be reunited with their beloved pet and move into a PALS (People and Animals Living Safely) apartment. The joy was also in knowing their pet had been healing peacefully because of RedRover.
With Laurel’s assistance, everything needed was provided through the generosity of a RedRover Relief (Safe Escape) grant, which assists families impacted by domestic violence.
The RedRover programs and grants keep pets safe when crisis situations arise. The Urban Resource Institute and the family, including the pet, are grateful for RedRover!!
