Rabbit Wranglers is awesome! They provided advice promptly on a weekend night and followed up to ensure that our beloved bunny was progressing well. This was after a substitute for our local vet didn't diagnose our bunny's condition correctly. Thank you Rabbit Wranglers!
So happy that we discovered Rabbit Wranglers. Alyssa paired us with the most perfect little guy and has been there ever since when we've needed advice or a recommendation. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
Alyssa, Suaz and their group of volunteers take in abandoned, neglected and injured bunnies, and give them top-notch care and the best opportunity to be placed in loving homes. They are there to offer expert care and comfort at the most difficult times and encouragement and advice always. I can’t say enough good things about the work Rabbit Wranglers does. We are so fortunate to have this great organization here in Pittsburgh! Lula and Cubby could not agree more!
Rabbit Wranglers does an amazing job educating people about rabbits, helping people care for their rabbits and rehabilitating the sickest rabbits in the area. A Rabbit Wranglers volunteer has boarded my rabbits while I'm on vacation for the past three years and I can't imagine leaving them with anyone else!
Suaz & Rabbit Wranglers have been there for my rabbits many times this year. I have had senior bunnies and a rabbit with a disability that I had questions about. They are always so giving and happy to help. I don't know what I would do without them.
Rabbit Wranglers helped when I found a rabbit wandering the streets. They took care of her vet visit & provided advice for her care. Suaz & Alyssa are accessible & down to earth.
My boyfriend and I attend school in Pittsburgh. We both are not from this location so we always have to take our rabbit with us when we travel. If we go somewhere we cannot take her, finding a friend who is rabbit savvy is hard. We want to feel comfortable if we go away on vacation. We googled and looked at some local organizations and found out rabbit wranglers does "boarding" for free with a donation. We were absolutely thrilled and we got matched short notice with an excellent caretaker. Our rabbit usually gets stressed when she moves and doesn't eat for a few hours. Right when we dropped her off with who we got matched with she was eating and exploring. We had updates and texts the whole time we were gone. We have someone who we feel comfortable watching our rabbits and a contact for life! We got a ton of helpful information out of this as well. Everything was really easy to do and stress free.
Rabbit Wranglers is a beautiful non-profit who helps small animals everyday. They rescued my bunny from a disturbing hoarding situation and saved her. Rabbit Wranglers is a selfless non-profit because I adopted my bunny from another shelter. To me this speaks to the mission of finding homes for these animals in need. They are always extending themselves to other shelters in the community to ensure these animals have their best shot at a forever home. When the local shelter explained what Rabbit Wranglers did to save my sweet girl, I did everything I could to work to support them. Cutie is doing better than ever.
Rabbit wranglers helped take care of and find forever homes to two bunnies I rescued (one stray and one neglected). It is awesome that Pittsburgh has an organization that can provide foster care for rabbits that need extra love and care.
Rabbit Wranglers is, simply, the best. I have adopted three rabbits from RW and have received solid advice, fantastic help and continuous support.
Rabbit Wranglers is helping a rabbit of ours who has an immune deficiency illness.
They are Angels of Mercy!
Rabbit wranglers is an exceptional nonprofit that I found during my years at a different nonprofit, Wildlife Works Inc. At Wildlife Works we take injured and orphaned wild animals in for rehabilitation; unfortunately many of the animals who come to us are actually domestic animals that have been dumped in the wild. This includes lots of ducks, geese, wild animals temporarily kept as "pets", and domestic rabbits. It breaks the hearts of our staff to see these creatures starving and hurt in the wild because they don't have wild instincts, but we do our best to save them and find domestic forever homes.
That's where rabbit wranglers comes in! They have accepted many rabbits from us, either to find them homes or offer them more extensive care in a private setting. We love the work they do, and I knew that when it was my turn to get a companion rabbit, I would choose one of WR's rescue buns. I adopted my first rabbit, Horace, in 2016. ☺️ I'm continuing to learn more about rabbit care from WR resources. I hope to use my experience to offer better care the next time I rehabilitate a hurt rabbit.
We had 2 rabbits running around our neighborhood for months. No one claimed them or took care of them. I became concerned when winter was approaching so I contacted Rabbit Wranglers for help. Thank you R.W. for capturing these two and getting them the veterinary care they needed and new homes with caring owners!
I have adopted two rabbits from Rabbit Wranglers in the last year (Ralphie and Toby). Prior to adopting these adorable buns, I was often in close contact with Alyssa (one of the owners) regarding Rabbit Wranglers' other services. I would often bring my buns over to her home and she would cut their nails with ease, clean their scent glands for me, help me with a difficult bunny bond and so much more. When I decided I wanted to adopt from Rabbit Wranglers, Alyssa was so wonderful and took so much time to help me find the perfect bond-mate for my first bunny, Annie. She set up so many speed dates for her with a ton of foster buns until we found the perfect match. Afterward, she was always in close contact to make sure that the partnership was going well. When I reached out to her again telling her I wanted to adopt another bun, she immediately took the time out of her day to personally call me to help me find yet another perfect bun. I could go on and on in this review but I just feel so passionate about Rabbit Wranglers and everything they do. Would recommend them to anyone.
We couldn't have gotten through our girls EC and head tilt issues without Rabbit Wranglers. Both Alyssa and Suaz have been wonderfully patient and educational. One reason we do not consider leaving Pittsburgh is because we'd have to give up this amazing resource. Bunnies of Pittsburgh are so lucky for these two and all of the wonderful volunteers and foster families with Rabbit Wranglers.
Rabbit Wranglers is a great source of information for bunny parents.
Rabbit Wranglers serves a special, neglected portion of homeless animals. They took in 3 very neglected, injured rabbits for us, and got them the care they desperately needed. Please support Rabbit Wranglers!
Rabbit Wranglers save the life of my Flemish Giant,Spooky, who was dying from the effects of E.C. and (I believe) arthritis.
They got him to a vet (twice, and got me meds to continue treating him at home!
Having bunnies in our home is fun and challenging. The help and advice and counsel from the wonderful folks at Rabbit Wranglers always reassures and provides direction. I cannot think of a more dedicated and focused organization whose mission to help and nurture these loving creatures never falters. I just admire them so much.
Rabbit Wranglers is an organization with a unique foundation and operating mode: love. As one who has and loves bunnies, Suaz and Alyssa (the gentle hearts at the core of RW) provide advice, guidance, consolation and awareness regarding these most gentle of nature's creatures. They have talked us and walked us through problems and crises, giving time and effort to help and provide assurance. I am quite fortunate to know these giving and dedicated people.
September 2016 we adopted from Rabbit Wranglers! We were excited but nervous potential first-time rabbit owners. Alyssa was fantastic. She took the time to match a few rabbits with our 3 kids, 1 dog family. We did a meet and greet and found the perfect match! Lila has been such a joy. Being first-timers, I've had a lot of questions since adopting Lila. Alyssa is always so kind (and quick) to answer and guide us in providing the best care for our bunny.
