Pusong Pinoy (PP) has definitely been a life changer, and it has given me the opportunity to use my talents and abilities to give back. I have worked with PP for about a year now, and as a Junior Team Leader, I have had the pleasure to organize a book drive, and collect books and monetary donations from my community. This cause is truly amazing, helping thousands of children in the Philippines to become educated to change their futures. Pusong Pinoy has made a positive impact on my community, and has taught me how to be a leader and how to give back effectively.

It was truly humbling how the founder, Donna Rosario, started this mission with her children in her own home. Her sons thought about donating their slightly-used books to the unfortunate kids in the Philippines and the rest is history.

From then on, I introduced my children to her and showed them that even though they're not adults yet, they can still make a difference by trying to promote literacy to those children in need, just by collecting books that they don't use anymore. My oldest, Christian became very inspired himself and promoted book collection in his high school and was successful enough to have collected a total of 4,000 books from his school alone and another 1,500 from friends, family and the community. He additionally sponsored a scholar in La Sale Lipa's Damascus Foundation through his social movement, KUYA. It's a rewarding gesture most especially for the children and youth because they can feel good about themselves that even if they're still young, they can play an important part in the society.

Because of this experience, my children learned the importance of giving and helping to their capacity. They will carry this throughout their lives.

I have been so blessed to have met the Pusong Pinoy Group. I've been helping those in need in the Pangansinan area and when they found out what I was doing, they reached out to me and provided much needed assistance. Their professionalism, integrity, and organizational skills have inspired me to do even more. I can't give enough praise for the work they're doing and the passion they have for those in need in the Philippines. It is truly inspiring and motivates me to continue on. Please support Pusong Pinoy as they are a true force for good.

This organization enables individuals like myself to help out without having to donate money. Some items we deem as useless, like used books or clothing, they find recipients for. The teamwork between people from different parts of the world is just incredible. If you're looking for a transparent organization to help out, Pusong Pinoy is the perfect organization for you!

My sister is the Founder of Pusongpinoy.org so when she asked me for help, I did so without hesitation. Little did I know that the simple book drive we started would start a movement of heroes across the globe who have stepped up to make a difference in the lives of less fortunate kids in the Philippines. These are frustrated readers who have discovered a love of reading. "Promote literacy to eradicate poverty", that's Pusongpinoy.org's motto. Please consider helping our organization.

Pusong Pinoy has been with us, San Vicente Ferrer Parish Social Action Lipa City, Philippines from the time the founder started this org. Pusong Pinoy “Promote literacy- eradicates poverty". From the book they send us, we started the book reading for the less fortunate children. From the book, I got the idea to do educational trip, for them to see other places such as Zoo, Planetarium, Gardenia, Luneta, Museum in Nichols, Enchanted Kingdom etc. The best gift that Pusong Pinoy gave to our less fortunate children, educating them and make them smile again.
They also helped us with our other needs like school supplies, slippers, giving packed of goodies every Christmas. Some super heroes even spend their birthday with the kids. They also help us with our Relief operation.
As their recipient, We prayed that they may be able to continue their works, in making a difference to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. They are truly a gift from God.
So guys, come and join Pusong Pinoy. ....a truly amazing group...and Be a HERO!

It is one of a kind considering that this started out as a minute group on Facebook that grew worldwide because of it's current members belief in the group's transparency and passionate intent of giving HOPE for these children through education. My hats off to you and more power going forward Pusong Pinoy!

After knowing Pusong Pinoy [http://pusongpinoyorg.blogspot.com] through the internet, and by meeting its founder, Donna Bernardo Rosario, whom I personally met after she has received a prestigious award from the" Gawad Geny Lopez Jr. Bayaning Pilipino Awards". . . I, Antonio Ingles, Jr., PhD, was so inspired by what it has been doing, this is why I decided to be doing the same with an organization I myself founded: Aral Pinoy [http://aralpinoy.blogspot.com]. I was so grateful to Pusong Pinoy for its organization is from which I draw inspiration again and again to sustain my own organization.
