I remain amazed at the excellent work PCAA does to combat child abuse. This discovery was made about two years ago when preparing a presentation on preventing child abuse. The request made for PCAA resources resulted in my receiving much information, some that I checked out and found to be real. I am very impressed.

I am a retired professional that taught Early Child Development and during my tenure so appreciated Prevent Child Abuse America and the information and training that the organization afforded me. I feel my role was made more visible with the population I served because of PCAA's advertising and public posture.

Keep up the good work and it is great to see billboards with positive info regarding parenting. It is the everyday info that impacts citizens and keeps awareness in the fore front.

I became aware of Prevent Child Abuse America about three years ago. The problem of abused children seemed to be growing and I wondered how an individual can make a dent in the problem. That's when I discovered there is this national organization dedicated to stopping abuse before it happens. It seemed all I ever heard about in the news was that a judge sentenced someone for beating a child—sometimes within an inch of its life. I asked myself, isn't there a way to get to theses people before they abuse their child? Prevent Child Abuse America was the perfect answer to identifying at-risk families and taking action before any harm was done.

Keep up the good work, and congratulations for reaching all 50 states.

PCAA and PCAWV are one of the best voices on children's issues. It has been a pleasure to work with our state chapter of PCA and they seem to think highly of the national chapter. It only benefits the public to have a united voice working and standing together for the well-being of our children. Thank you for the work you do in WV and on the national level.

As a parent and former child of child abuse, I have been glad to know of the PCA organization. I have been interested in the organization for years and have attended some of their functions for children and parents over the past 5 years. I have enjoyed and been glad for what they do in raising awareness in helping children and parents dealing with this serious matter. I have been an advocate since my first child 13 years ago. This organization is great in that it opens up the heart of people to help children who have no voice or a little one that is not strong enough. More support is needed to raise up the voices and shout out in a good way to solve as many child abuse problems as we can being that there is so many hidden, unreported, or lost situations. Prevent Child Abuse America is awesome in my eyes.

The importance of education and awareness to assist children at risk is something that Prevent Child Abuse America does on many levels from outreach and facebook to politacal action. They know that educating others on the small things they can do to make a big diffence in a childs life. I value their voice and courage.

I've posted two other times advising of my experience with child abuse and to say that my funds are next to none. However, I would be happy to work with children and/or adults that suffer from residual effects.

Advancing Parenting, advancingparenting.org, is an effort to improve the quality of parenting in communities, which will in turn reduce child abuse, substance abuse, domestic violence, and crime. We are placing parenting tips on the windows of businesses, medical buildings, offices, and automobiles in an effort to bombard people with messages about good parenting.

I am one of those people who could have had a better life for my kids and myself if the prevent child abuse program Healthy Families America had been available in Wyoming. I had no support and no guidance while raising my babies and now they are young adults who are suffering from the long term physical and emotional abuse from their father. I can't help but think about how different my life would have been if Healthy Families America were available in all states in the US.

PCAA always has up to the minute updates on best practices and ways to advocate for the children who need it most in America. I specifically use their blog as a tool to gain more information in order to spread the word to others about the importance of advocating for at-risk children! A GREAT Non-Profit!
