PCI Media is always ready to jump on a new project proposal and turn it around with great levels of detail and expertise. They are great partners who work really well in collaboration with other groups in multi-organization campaign settings. The team brings joy, creativity and a deep understanding of strategies as entertainment-education and other communication tools that have helped us engage "unusual audiences" on issues as decentralized renewable energy and air pollution.
We worked with PCI Media Impact on an entertainment education radio soap-opera for communities in India, with the objective of engaging these communities on campaigns for energy access and distributed solar power solutions. Media Impact delivered high quality work, that included on-site research, engagement with our partners, the production of 8x30' episodes and the placement of the program on the state radio, within a very short time frame and budget and with a high level of quality. Media Impact staff were not only very professional and knowledgeable, but also available, responsive, respectful and open for constructive engagement with the various partners involved in the work.
This work lead to another partnership - suggested by PCI ME - for the development of the climate change piece of the Comics Uniting Nations project, where again PCI Media Impact delivered high quality work that included a dynamic, multi-stakeholder narrative development process and around the clock consultations and feed-back management of multiple partners. As from before, its staff were very professional, respectful and proactive.
Worked with the PCI Media team on more than one project and was never disappointed. High quality work that is well thought out for various audiences and is more than a cut above the rest: with stuff that pulls..tugs...no, yanks at your heartstings and gets the message out. Creativity and passion are common traits in the team.
PCI Media is creative, effective and responsive. What more could you ask for in an agency? I look forward to working with them on more campaigns!
I recently worked with the staff of PCI Media to implement a number of broad communication activities, including initiating a global movement and launching a pavilion at a major international conservation conference. In every instance, the PCI media team made what seemed huge challenges, easy tasks. Their strategic communication knowledge, dedicated approach to work, and understanding of global issues and interests, make them a unique and highly-valuable team. I have the greatest respect for PCI Media.
PCI Media impact spearheaded drama production in an entertainment-wildlife conservation education project that aimed at addressing bushmeat issues in Tanzania. It was and still remains a great success with a remarkable positive change thanks to PCI media impact. We also came up with elephant and rhino poaching song, known as A DEBT OF COURTECY educating the public on need to conserve these creatures and stop poaching
PCI do tremendous important work - the time and dedication they spent with my organization was insightful and inspiring. The staff I have met are accessible at all times, are able to stretch their minds in ways I've never seen and it is an honour and a privilege to know and work with them.
The work of PCI media impact is truly inspiring. The way they connect with the local communities where they are trying to get a change and raise awareness of different issues like environment, women empowerement, and others, is unique and powerful. They really understand the power of story telling.
PCI tells the stories that connect people to their environment. Working with PCI has opened my mind and heart to the power of storytelling for changing the way people see the ocean. I look forward to working with the professionals at PCI for many years to come.
I was a student in PCI's two-week intensive at UCLA's World Arts and Culture Department this past Spring. As an arts activist and a former film student I was astounded at the amount of new material that I got to interact with when it came to subjects I already knew fairly well. Sean, Alex, Mischa, and their collaborators set our class up for success and allowed us a space to think about what we could do for our community at UCLA.
Though their initiative I am currently working on programming for our incoming Freshman class. My efforts were inspired by the PCI workshop and continue on in that vein.
