I use the food safety information provided to further advance a culture of food safety in child nutrition programs.
The partnership has provided me with the tools I need to stay food safe at home. I am an avid user of a food thermometer and the temperature chart helps me know when my food si safe to eat. I also love the constant learning experiences and the resources provided that feature new research on food safety.
Being a partner of PFSE has allowed us to stay connected in the partnerships role of educating "BAC fighters" by providing educational resources on food safety best practices. The partnership has played an important role in our efforts to reach consumers regarding the safe handling of raw flour, doughs, and batters.
I appreciate all the food safety information available. BAC character is a favorite "to get rid of" in my classes at the schools! The Myth Busters that are now out are great! Real questions & thoughts with correct answers! I've used a lot of their material during my Kids Cooking Camps.
I am a nutrition educator at a public health center and truly enjoy the PFSE Webinars and the opportunity to learn safety measures I can pass on to our clients. I use the PFSE website frequently for accurate and timely information. I am never disappointed with the quality and accuracy of the information, and appreciate how it is formatted into attractive flyers, posters, and brochures. Thanks PFSE for all your hard work and helping us help others!!!
I have used their food safety educational material and resources for years. It is the best when it comes to food safety education for the general consumer and also for children.
The Partnership for Food Safety Education helps make my job easier. The Fightbac.org website provides resources and insight to help me be proactive with educational resources. In addition, timely resources are provided to help me respond to emerging issues.
My favorite activity is to emphasize the importance of hand washing with my audiences. It is the first step for healthy living!
As an Extension Educator specializing in food safety education, The Partnership for Food Safety Education takes food safety messages further than most other food safety sources. They share research and explain the 'why' behind a recommendation invaluable. When I explain the 'why' behind a food safety recommendation, people listen and frequently respond, "I didn't know that..."
I enjoy getting the new news from your emails . I use your sight a lot. I like the games you started for the kids. Your sight is very informational for everyone to use. Thanks for all your hard work.
"They provide free quality materials for our use as we educate the public about food safety issues. We, like most organizations, are on very limited budgets now and would have a very hard time doing our job without their help."
The Partnership for Food Safety Education website and info are very consumer friendly, I have shared a lot of info on social media, and within our organization globally
Very impressive, professional organization. They do a lot with minimal resources and make a big impact on food safety.
I think Fight bac is very useful and effective to help people how can they avoid food borne and protect their self and prevent disease. So, it is important to keep informed regularly about this issue.
I enjoy receiving the Partnership for Food Safety Education e-mails. They are precise and interesting. They are shared with our Food & Beverage cast, as well as displayed in our break rooms for all employees to see. I regularly receive feedaback on how informative they are. The parents even share them with their children....so it is like a domino effect in a very positive way. Thank you for keeping us abreast of the latest in food safety and reminding us of so many safety issues we forget.
I was involved devloping the lessons, experiments, and assessments for the GetBac! program. I helped present the program at the National Press Club in DC and gave workshops at NSTA many years ago. The program is still great, leads to inquiry science learning and integrates common core curriculum content. It's been a great partnership for schools, government agencies, and other places that teach children about food safety.
