I support the education of a young student & I correspond with the student a couple times a year. I am a retired teacher and this is a rewarding endeavor for me.
We have been involved since its onset and sponsored many students at the school. John Mulindabigwi is truly a man of God and has done amazing things at the school. We have spent a lot of time with John and his passion and love for the students, teachers and the school is evident to everyone he meets and talks to.
This is an organization that has spent their money wisely and the progress they have made over the years is overwhelming.
We would recommend this mission and have reached out to our associates who have also been impressed. Charlie and Bette Varvaro
Members of my family and I have been involved with Partners in Mission (PIM) for over five years. We have participated in the Bike to the Lake event each year since it started. The ride from Glen Ellyn, IL to Lake Geneva, WI is a wonderful event that brings members of the host church (First Presbyterian Glen Ellyn), the Chicagoland community and family/friends together to raise funds for PIM. It's rewarding for all of us to participate in an active community building event that benefits students in Kamwenge, Uganda, by providing improved housing, educational facilities and hope for a brighter future.
I cannot believe where the work of Partners in Mission has gone since my first trip to Uganda in 2007. Today, more than 900 students are given a quality education, Christina love, and vocational skills to make village life better than what it haw been for generations. The best part of PIM's work is that it is both created and led by indigenous Ugandan leaders -- not Western world "do-gooders". I have fallen in love with their mission, their work, their children, their leaders ....... and I have been back nine more times as a result. I also have gone to Uganda with my family (even the little ones). You would be hard pressed to find a more responsible and thoughtful organization to invest in.
We've been in Uganda with John and PIM since their earliest days. We've seen the hard work, the impossible dreams, and the amazing fulfillment. We love the work, and the teachers, and the students who have been blessed and whose futures now take an astonishing trajectory upwards, all while instilling values of love and compassion. It is a blessed success and worthy of support. It has also given us the opportunity to reach out to other schools and students in the area.
Partners in Mission is an incredible organization with a beautiful vision and mission. It has been an honor to play a part in supporting a student at their school in Uganda as well as visit the campus and spend time with their staff and students. Thank you for all that you do!
PIM-AFRICA is an outstanding Christian based Ministry, reminding us each and every day that we are all God's children. We are proud to support an organization that keeps us up to date with Emails and literature. Sponsoring two girls in their journeys of education and Christian Faith has been extremely rewarding for us. So proud of those who travel so far to see the Kemwenge facility. Reverend John, his wife and staff are deeply involved and awesome role models.
I have traveled to Uganda 6 times volunteering with another organization Juna Amagara. Each of these visits has resulted in being hosted in John M's home as I would engage in activity on Juna Amagara’s behalf. I have found John and his family to be loving, serving, gracious people. From these visits John and I have developed a relationship in which I consider John to be a friend. When I suggested to John to come to America to the Willow Creek Leadership conference, he did, which gave some wings to his organization. When I look to make a financial contribution to an organization I want to interact with one where I am assured of accountability, reliability of the organization and one where the cause is worthy. This organization is that. John is supported by an American board made up of God honoring, high integrity people.
Best Regards,
