I have personally visited the Hall of Fame and Museum where the National Association of Chiefs of Police is housed. I was very moved by the Memorial and the names of fallen officers etched in marble. As a retired officer myself, I know how much this organization does for police and police families. In tandem with the AFP&CC (also located at the hall of fame), they see to it that the children, families and parents of fallen or disabled officers are never forgotten, even years after a line-of-duty death or injury. Thank goodness for good organizations and dedicated people like NACOP and the Hall of Fame staff.
