I am a member, and I have tried numerous times to get in contact with someone from the New Jersey chapter, and no one has bothered to return one phone call or respond to my emails. I am not an ATM and would like to work with the chapter in some capacity, but they apparently could not care less about engaging their members. Their primary goal is to collect money and for you to go away! Do your research and find an organization that treats its members with respect and tries to engage as many of their members as possible to reach their goals. It's sad to say; the NAACP is not that organization.
