M.A.D stands up for its name. It made a difference in lives of many kids..and it is even bringing up change in lives of many more kids. Changes the perspective of kids..it changes the way they see life..of all..it gives parental support to kids which can't be done so easily. Playing role of parent in a kids life isn't so easy and this is definitely a non-profit organization. Volunteers working there expect nothing..but the satisfaction one can get through this organization is amazing.. a volunteer or person who is closely related with M.A.D knows what life is like.. it takes a lot of courage and kind heart to be a M.A.D volunteer..its not as easy as we see it. Its the dedication of every volunteer what makes up M.A.D. THUMBS UP AND HATS OFF FOR M.A.D . love this organization and work a lot. Life changing experience.
I was just having a casual chat with one of the hiring volunteers from mad and I was truly amazed at their hiring criteria for MAD teachers. It was not enough if you were an expert in a field, you had to be kind and understanding with a high score in patience.. I'm inspired by MAD! I am sure MAD is making a Difference indeed!
I heard about this organization from my friend. Its a great thing to help needy.its a great venture.hats off to the organization and its people!!
I have a heard a lot about mad from my friends and I hope to be a volunteer as soon as the next recruitment drive comes along
I know a friend who is the member of MAD who actively involves her, which made me to become a member of MAD. Yet to completely invole myself with MAD. MAD is not only working for underprivileged kids to provide them with quality education. They also mointor there projects based on two Areas Activity & Results. They monitor the activites like Attendance of the kids, Feedback from Volunteers, Invigilation of Mentors, Training for Volunteers, periodical audits, Monthly meetings & Centrally controlled Finance. Various assessments is being conduct to ensure the kids are benefited and their performance is being tracked.
I came to know about this wonderfull yet different organiztion called MAD from my Colleague, Mr.Jithin C Nedumala. This organization was concieved by Jithin and two of his friends, which initiated with a humble begining. Unlike other college goers these guys used to devote their spare time and money in teachings and helping the little kids at orphanages in the locality. The organiztion took on lead with the active volunteering of other motivated youngsters who wanted to make a difference in the society. And thus the evolvement of 'MAD'. I really appreciate their efforts in bringing happiness in life of many orphan kids round the country, and I whole heartedly support this organization, their mission and their activities.
my brother has been a part of make a difference right from its birth and a lot of my friends are volunteers. I have seen them making a huge difference in many young lives.
I have had the opportunity to interact with officials, volunteers and the students of the 'Make A Difference' family. I believe it is a great movement. It is the focus on education which took America ahead in the 20th century and I am sure emphasis on education can alter India significantly. The manner in which MAD has gone about this is very very professional - identifying a floating volunteer population who are really committed to the cause - the systems works very well. The volunteers are giving their time and knowledge for a cause, they are actually in the process of enabling the less privileged without looking for anything in return - to put in place a system like this and considering that this has been done by the young generation without any brand or money power backing them speaks volumes for MAD. The volunteers also benefit in the long run getting the opportunity to understand the social dynamics of the less privileged and get the big picture of the society clearer and better. The society at large also benefits considerably from this linkage between different socio-economic groups of youth as this would help the country and society move on an inclusive and peaceful development ahead. A great concept implemented in an excellent manner. Best wishes to 'MAD' Commander R Madhusoodanan, Corporate Trainer
My colleague is an active volunteer of Make-a-difference .There are doing a wonderful job.Their sincere efforts should really be appreciated
I actually had wrong impression about NGO's but when i saw MAD organizations volunteers my perception about them has changed. they work very hard and full dedication. i wish i had time to work with them. they are really doing great job
I interact with members of MAD on a daily basis and have volunteered a few times in orphanages in Hyderabad(India). Make A Difference (MAD) doesn't provide funds to the underprivileged nor infrastructure for the homeless. It focuses on the core reason for long term development - Education. MAD does much more than just teach. It empowers! A MAD volunteer does not just impart subject knowledge but inculcates values, manners that go a long way in ensuring holistic development. Teaching kids in orphanages a simple "Please", "Thank you" in addition to computers and the internet is a start at forming a good personality. MAD's focus is simplistic and devoid of tall claims and unrealistic goals. They focus on what they do best - teach! and channel all their energy in this one area which in turn impacts a hundred others. The high energy atmosphere and whacky ideas during a MAD class session is infectious and inspiring. It brings out talent, creativity and a sense of self worth among the children not to mention the inexplicable satisfaction among us volunteers. Games, role-play interspersed with lessons on manners, etiquette and informative lessons on various subjects forms such a strong base for the development of a solid citizen. I find MAD's goals far reaching, their vision simple and their execution dynamic with a personal touch to it. They can be trusted and have a spotless record thanks to their foolproof system of accountability. "Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, you feed him for life". MAD does exactly this.
Involved in their activities as a well-wisher for quite some time now and I find these youngsters' work really inspiring. If every youngster feels as responsible as this bunch for this country's future, India will definitely shine!
mad is doing a wonderful job.. Though im not directly associated to it, my sister is.. So im updated with all the MAD news.. They're super enthusiastic people who are ready a make a diff.:-)
NOT GENERAL, BUT THIS WAS A ONCE IN A LIFE EXPERIENCE FOR ME. SEEING THEM GO ABOUT, I WAS SURPRISED BY THE SPIRIT WITH WHICH THEY GO ABOUT THEIR TASKS.
I have a friend in MAD.....she's really actively involved...as are all you guys..kudos to all of u....keep up the good work....
MAD is a truly an inspiration. I am blown away by the amazing impact this organization has achieved in just a few years. It is a testament to the power of the human spirit that so many young volunteers from all around the nation unite through MAD, focused on one common cause. I join the thousands of children whose lives MAD has touched, in thanking the people of MAD who have become the change that they believe in.
I have nt been actively involved with Make a Difference but I have observed how they have brought about a change in the lives of the people that they work with. The volunteers are extremely dedicated and this reflects in their work. There is also a sense of happiness one obtains from working with the children. I am grateful to this organisation for its contribution to the society.
I visited the centres they teach in Cochin and was surprised to see the response of the kids. I also promoted MAD in my college
Haven't know MAD for a longer time, but by what I have seen them do has touched me. Infact it touches each and everyone who comes across MAD. They certainly are making a huge difference not only in the lives of those whom they help, but also difference is seen in the lives of those who help them- by way of their experience(s). The not only help the child in their study but recognize their strong points outside the book syllabus and then help them in that field, so that they excel in things they love doing and thus helping them better at those things.
Its a great organization doing some real good work by helping those kids. To devote yourself selflessly for the betterment of the underprivileged is the most noble thing one can do. So cheers to mad.
