A Loudoun Volunteer Caregiver delivers groceries from the food bank twice a month. I suffer from severe lung disease and no longer venture too far from my front door. I watch this dear woman carry bags of food to me, and I think really it's a heavy load even for the able bodied. We chat for a bit, and then she's off to deliver canned goods, meat and fruit, bread and pastry to the next low-income/disabled family. There is no accounting the gratitude I can extend to the LVC.
