Mission: Logan's Run Rescue is an animal rescue organization whose purpose is to provide foster care, medical care, and temperament training and to find qualified homes and to rescue animals in need. In addition, the organization provides low-cost spay and neuter services as well as rabies vaccinations. The ultimate goal is to establish a low-cost spay and neuter clinic to serve residents of Cherokee County and the surrounding counties in western North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
Target demographics: dogs and cats with spay and neuter as well as rescue.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 4,623 dogs and cats with spay and/or neuter and 387 rescued.
Geographic areas served: Cherokee, Clay , Graham and surrounding counties.
Programs: During 2023, Logan's Run Rescue had accepted and vetted 387 dogs and cats. We sent out 387 via adoption, transports, or return to owners.
During 2023, Logan's Run Rescue had spayed or neutered 4,623 dogs and cats.
