I have had the oppurtunity in the past to support lhp by attending fundraisers to support their work. I have also had the chance to get to know some of their staff and recognize how dedicated they are to their mission.

I've worked in Lemay for over 30 years. we have a housing market that is very challenged by a number of issues. The Lemay area has a relatively low/middle income residential population, with a substantial number of seniors, many of whom are on a fixed income. They are challenged to keep up with the needs of their homes. Many of the homes were built way before the "60s and at a time when zoning and building requirements were quite lax. The infrastructure of the community is lacking in many ways; streets, curbs, sidewalks, sewer, lighting. all adding to needs of the areas residents. With these challenges the Lemay Housiong Partnership stepped in some 10-12 years ago to try and assist. It has had a great deal of success. And maybe most importantly it has established itself as the place for residents and local and government leaders to turn to regarding housing issues. Keep up the good work LHP. The area needs you.
