Programs: The "Empower Me KidSafe!" programs consist of 4 components: 1. The NEW Stay KidSafe! program providing personal safety education to Grades K through grade 5. 2. Our original KidSafe for Kids, Creating a Culture of Safety in the Classroom - an 8 week curriculum for children in Prek-4. 3. KidSafe for Parents and Guardians, A Seminar for Keeping Your Children Safe 3. KidSafe for Educators, Training for Sexual Abuse Prevention in Schools 4. CampSafe - online training for camp counselors and staff to ensure personal safety in camps and a great life-long camp experience. And many more adult programming opportunities!

KidSafe staff, trainers and materials are fantastic! I have known this organization for over 5 years and the things they have accomplished with such a small staff is amazing. Now that their materials will be online their reach will be so vast. Every child and parent needs this education. The trauma that children suffer continues into adulthood so if we can prevent it from happening before it does, we should do everything in our power to do it. I love this organization.
I have worked with KidSafe for over 2 years and have found them to be well run and focused on their goal. The employees and their board work well together for the common goal of empowering children.
I am a donor and volunteer for the KidSafe Foundation. I believe in their mission to provide education to protect children from child abuse, bullying and online exploitation. It is important that other donors realize the great importance of preventing abuse BEFORE it begins and quality education programs like KidSafe should start in early childhood. I appreciate their use of a 3 tier approach to protecting children - teaching children, parents and professionals working with children. This is a great model for keeping children safe.
I am a long time donor to KidSafe Foundation. Although I support many charities - KidSafe is one of my favorites. I believe not enough is done to prevent trauma to children and the programs KidSafe provides to children, parents, teachers and professionals is not only a quality program but educates children through fun not fear and provides life skills for adults that are easy to incorporate into everyday parenting. I highly recommend this nonprofit for anyone wanting to protect children from trauma.
Quantum Foundation is proud to fund this great organization. I personally attended one of the training sessions and I learned more than I ever believed possible. It's rare that an orgazniation can help prevent immeasurable pain and suffering through candid education. Kidsafe Foundation does just that!
I support the KidSafe Foundation because I believe in it's mission to educate children and adults to prevent child sexual abuse, bullying and internet dangers. The statistics are staggering...1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually exploited before the age of 18 - but 95% of abuse and exploitation of children is preventable with education. Every child and every adult should have KidSafe!
