Interning at Kids Beating Cancer has given me insight to the struggle of children who are fighting for their lives every day against a horrible disease. This organization is giving, caring, and uplifting. They not only support the kids and their families financially, but emotionally as well!
My firs experience with Kids Beating Cancer was amazing! I enjoy reaching out to the community and bringing awareness to the children.
Kids beating cancer is an amazing organization's whose sole purpose is to help these children get the medical attention they need. They go above and beyond not only for each child but for the families as well. Their mission is transparent and they are changing lives every day. Being an intern here has been a great experience and I would not want to intern anywhere else.
Had a great experience interning here! Such amazing people! This is such an amazing organization for a great cause!
Truly a humbling and inspiring organization with an incredible cause. Very proud to be part of an amazing team.
Kids Beating cancer is outstanding! Their work with the kids is unparalleled. Their successes can speak for themselves. It has been a great 25 years and will only be getting better to come!
Kids Beating Cancer is a one-of-a-kind organization! I love everything this organization stands for and I love how they fight to help beat cancer. Margaret's vision for this organization has given so many people the chance to end this horrible disease once and for all and help children from all over beat cancer. Thank you, KBC for all that you do!
Kids Beating Cancer is the best nonprofit group I have volunteer for. The people in this group care so much for this children and families. I love everything they do for Kids Beating Cancer and I will never stop helping.
I have been interning with Kids Beating Cancer for about 3 months and I must say I love how much work this organization puts towards their kids. Nothing but hard work and time goes into this organization and I truly see the dedication in every single member of this organization. From a 5k run in Mount Dora to the Hats and Heroes Ball, this organization works hard to raise money for the children in need.
As a new participant of non profit organization involvement I (on the left) have found great joy in the makings and efforts of Kids Beating Cancer. Their close knit professional family atmosphere expresses an amazing sense of active dedication in the lives of the children they wish to honor and support. I have played a hands on role along side their driven staff and can truly see and feel the essence of love they pour out to the countless lives they strive to compassionately improve. Kids Beating Cancer exemplifies the primary focus of a nonprofit organizations. They whole heartedly elevate the wellbeing of their recipients through beneficial resources and reinforced valued care systems.
It has been such an honor to work with Kids Beating Cancer. The staff is so dedicated and they stand for such an amazing cause!
Truly an inspiration to be a part of such a great charity and to be able to help those in need.
KBC is a wonderful charity who does so much for the kids and families in need! It was wonderful working with them
Kids Beating Cancer assists the children and families during their biggest challenge in life. KBC helps with the crucial but often uncovered medical testing for bone marrow transplants. They are literally helping to save lives. But they also assist in quality of life issues, such as dance classes and hospital room decor. It is a hands on charity with which I am proud to have volunteered.
It goes without saying that the cause is worthy, but what really stands out about KBC is the commitment those working with the charity have to making a difference every single day. It is not just about an event, a fundraiser or exposure. It is evident that everything they do on a daily basis is to further the mission and work towards the day when every child wins their battle.
As a volunteer at KBC, I have seen how everyone works together to inform the Central Florida community about these children and their families going through unfortunate events in their lives. Im so glad the Central Florida area has an organization like KBC to give these families hope and faith by working together as a community and showing them that the community does care. My favorite volunteering project was the "My Room Program" to cheer up the little ones and make their transplant process a lot smoother by decorating their room to their preference like Kiera and her "Frozen" themed room!
I've volunteered for many non-profit organizations and KBC is one of the greatest. The CEO is not only inspiring, but she educates others on awareness on childhood cancer, and other life threatening diseases and taught me the struggles and many challenges that are faced throughout the treatment process for not only the child with the diagnosis, but for the families as well. This organization also directly impacts children like, giving them support throughout the treatment process, and even after the treatment process.
