Having Leukemia since 2007. I have felt very alone until I found Jeffrey's Voice. Reading the posts daily have inspired me and has given to courage and hope when I am feeling down. I thank Nancy for following her heart and having an organiztion like this in memory of her sons. God bless her always.
I met Nancy Horne through another "leukemia family member" when my late husband had leukemia. We've actually never met in person, although I feel like I know her well. Through this charity, she does amazing work to help those fighting the monster called leukemia. It is a painful and heartbreaking disease to watch a loved one go through. Nancy's strength and passion amaze me! Wonderful charity! The club she and I joined was certainly not one we ever wanted to be in.
My wife Terri was diagnosed with leukemia three years ago. When it happened we were scared and didn't know what to do. So, as many people do nowadays, we turned to the internet to try to get as much information as possible. One of the first sites I found was Jeffrey's Voice. I was immediately impressed with the tenacity and passion Ms. Nancy Horne has for her cause. Over time Terri and I have connected with others going through the same thing, I can't articulate how much it has helped us both get through this process. Ms. Nancy has not only been supportive, I feel that she has become a personal friend to us as well. Terri is currently in remission and doing fantastic. However, for some the story doesn't have a happy ending. That needs to change. Jeffrey's Voice does everything possible to find a cure for leukemia, and provides much needed support for those fighting. I can not say enough how much of an impact Jeffrey's Voice has made on our lives...
My wife Terri Peet is fighting Leukemia (ALL). She was diagnosed in July 2011. When we first found out the news we were lost and didn't know what to do. I began searching online for other people to connect with that had gone through the same experience. I found a couple of organizations that I really enjoyed, one of which was Jeffrey's Voice. I was so happy to see all the work that was done to try to rid the world of the horrible disease Leukemia. The lady that runs it is Ms. Nancy Horne, whom I have never met, but with whom I feel a kinship with because she can identify with me in the worst kind of way. She lost her precious son Jeffrey to leukemia and her other precious son Brian a short time later due to a broken heart. Every penny that is made by this organization goes to ridding the world of this terrible disease, nothing more. My wife is currently in remission and I pray that she stays that way. I would never want to lose her...
Nancy Horne is not only an inspiration, but she is a comforting place to go, an encouraging word, and a dedicated leader. She has talked me through the most difficult times of my life. She has guided me, and motivated me, and above all else, she has cared for me. I can honestly say, my life would be a lot darker if it weren't for Nancy Horne and Jeffrey's Voice leaving the light on. She is by far the most deserving of this recognition. She deserves it, she earned it, and she would honor it.

I recently spent a few weeks with Nancy and cant compliment her enough on her passion and drive. She is a tireless warrior when it comes to this wonderful cause and I wish her nothing but the best.
When I decided to go to enroll at Georgia Southern University the fall of 2005, I decided I was going to join a Fraternity. I chose Delta Chi and was the president of our pledge class...all 12 of us. Jeff Horne was one of my pledge brothers and a good friend. Tragically, he passed away too soon and in his and his brothers honor, their mother started this wonderful charity. My wife and I have been as involved as our time permits but Jeffrey's Voice is always on our minds. Mrs. Horne works tirelessly to make sure events are planned and go well. She constantly keeps us updated on what is happening through social media as well. We love the charity and cant wait to keep helping. I'd recommend it to anyone who can help.
I first became aware of Jeffrey's Voice in October of 2010. Because I have worked in advertising & media, I know it is not cheap to advertise. Therefore, I've always been a bit leery of any non-profit organization that does a lot of advertising. I recognized right away that Jeffrey's Voice was different. I saw Jeffrey's Voice had one true mission and that was to help fund research that would lead to a cure for Leukemia and Blood Cancers. I personally have no experience with Leukemia and I pray I never will, but there was something about this organization that spoke to me, almost literally. It was as if it were calling on me. I had never met Nancy Horne, the founder and president of Jeffrey's Voice, and I still haven't. Yet, I feel I've known her all my life. In December of 2012, I asked Nancy if I could help in any way. I wasn't sure what I could do since she lives in Florida and I live in Tennessee, but she put me right to work. It is very rewarding to know that I am helping to bring awareness to such a horrific disease. Leukemia is one of the deadliest cancers, yet, so many people are still unaware and under educated of its danger and existence. Jeffrey's Voice is helping to change that. Oh, by the way, we only use free forms of advertising and all of our volunteers are exactly that... PROUD VOLUNTEERS!! Every penny donated to Jeffrey's Voice goes directly toward research for a cure.
I was working for an organization that helps non-profits raise money with the help of digital music downloads when I found Jeffrey's Voice on Twitter. I had been researching various charities for weeks, but something stood out about Jeffrey's Voice. After visiting their website to learn more and viewing their YouTube videos, I felt compelled to do try and help them in some way. Soon after, I spoke to the founder and President, Nancy Horne. Nancy's videos, her posts, her words... touched my soul in a way that I still cannot explain. I have never met a woman so dedicated, determined - so STRONG. Her life was changed forever by a disease called Leukemia and now she is carrying on the legacy of the two sons that this disease took from her so that other families, children...mothers and fathers don't feel the pain that she and her family feel. I HIGHLY recommend Jeffrey's Voice and I STRONGLY encourage others to get involved and join in the fight to cure leukemia.
Jeffrey's Voice is an organization founded on nothing but love. Two young men who wanted their life experience with leukemia to bring about a cure for future patients and a mother who is bold and strong enough to carry out her sons dreams. Because it has been created on nothing but love, there is no financial gain for anyone but research organizations capable of fulfilling the mission of Jeffrey's Voice - to find a cure for leukemia.
Jeffrey's Voice was established by a dear friend of mine out of the pain of the loss of 2 of her sons due to the impact of leukemia in their lives. Rather than crawl up in silence, Nancy took her pain and turned it into action motivated by her sons who had wanted, more than anything, to find a cure for leukemia. And she's not sitting around waiting for funds to come to her - she's going out in every possible direction and seeking resources to go directly to leukemia and other blood cancer research.
Jeffrey's Voice affects me personally because, in addition to my love and awe for the Horne family, my son grew up with Jeff and Brian. He, too, supports their cause due to their passion as well as his own personal connection. Kirk is a blood cancer (Hodgkins Lymphoma) survivor.
Jeffery's Voice is a wonderful organization that is fighting for more research dollars to help families and patients globally who have faced a blood cancer with no cure in site. I have volunteered several times for this organization and have always found that in every way they are focused on the goal of finding a cure. Jeffery's Voice has a heart for people and families touched by blood cancers and will continue forward until a cure is found.
I am a proud supporter of Jeffrey's Voice. I fully support Nancy's mission to find a cure for Leukemia and blood cancers. Although, I never met Jeffrey or Brian Horne, I feel like they are apart of my family, and I will do everything I can to spread the word about this cause. I admire & love Nancy Horne very much, I will always stand by her side.
Having had the pleasure of knowing Jeffrey Horne and how dedicated he was to defeating Leukemia, I urge everyone to support this worthy cause. Leukemia/Lymphoma can be cured and eradicated if enough caring people support Jeffrey's Voice, financially and voluntarily. I am proud to be a supporter of this much needed organization.
The founder of Jeffrey's Voice, Nancy Horne, is a loving, caring and outstanding individual. Nancy and her associates are to be commended for the significant progress Jeffrey's Voice has made in a short period of time. Jeffrey's Voice is critical in the war on Leukemia/Lymphoma.
Hopefully, Jeffrey's Voice will be "heard" not only in the southeast, but throughout the nation.
