The trip to Orlando that Inheritance of Hope provided my family was an experience that far exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to enjoy some fellowship with other families that are experiencing the same reality that our family is, but the counselors, staff and volunteers made this trip one that our family will never forget and cherish forever. Everyone took tremendous care of our family and made sure all details were taken care of so we could enjoy the trip. My family will always be grateful for the for this gift!
This is a great charity that does wonderful things for the children and parents where the family has been touched by a terminal illness. They have directly ministered to our family in an amazing way. I will most certainly be donating if I possibly can in the future to help another family receive the blessings that we did. The volunteers were awesome and this organization is meticulous with the details. All of this goes into making an unparalleled special experience that helps families create memories and legacies that will last a life time!
Inheritance of Hope is a truly amazing organization that gives legacies to families with a parent with a terminal illness. The staff and volunteers go way above and beyond to give truly life changing memories to the families served. We LOVE our Inheritance of Hope family!!!
My name is Amanda. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma 2 years ago. Inheritance of Hope gave my the opportunity to build my legacy with my children. We had an amazing time is Disney World meeting new friends and family going through the same situation I am going through. I did not have a worry in the world the whole time we were down in Florida. Everything was perfectly organized. Even through a Hurricane!
What a life changing experience for my family, and soul. The team at IoH made us feel like royalty and we genuinely felt special. We didn't know exactly what to expect, we feared any type of counseling and being vulnerable. Within minutes of arriving at the retreat those fears and insecurities disappeared. Almost like a switch being flipped. I felt trust, love & most importantly, my family let their guard down and were able receive the gift given to us.
Our children bonded immediately with the other kids, which was good for my heart to witness. I find myself wishing we had more time to get to know the other parents. The thought and attention to detail for every person/family was top notch. We are blown away by this organization and what they "gave" back to my family, back to my heart, my dreams, and my intentions. Inheritance of Hope genuinely cares for the families they serve. We are forever thankful for being a part of the 2016 Orlando Retreat.
My family attending the NYC Retreat in November 2015. The entire trip was flawlessly planned and overall an amazing and memorable experience for everyone. The volunteers were so kind and willing to lend a helping hand in any situation. It was nice to be able to connect with other families going through the same thing through the discussion groups. The activities were planned wonderfully and such that we did not have to worry about a thing. Everything was so family friendly and focused on providing us with the perfect NYC experience. Truly an amazing organization.
Our family had the opportunity to attend the legacy retreat in January 2016. Words are hard to describe the memories that were made and the friendships made and the HOPE that we know the LORD provides. All of the volunteers did an outstanding job. Our lives have changed and our JOY has been stronger due to Inheritance of Hope
Spent 3.5 days in Orlando with 23 other families being treated to a Legacy Retreat from Inheritance of Hope! We were treated like royalty -- every detail was attended to -- meals, transportation and our own personal "paparazzi". Staff and Volunteers were just wonderful, supportive, caring and encouraging! We logged more than 3 miles each day -- laughed, cried, and made new friends and memories! I was humbled to be considered for this retreat; and I'm more humbled by the generosity and support we received.
The Orlando Inheritance of Hope trip was an amazing experience. I am grateful for all the priceless memories we made. I am a single mom with stage 4 cancer and three teenage boys. I would not have been able to have such a great trip or memories with my boys without all of you at IOH!! Thanks so much to Deric, Jessica, Nate and everyone else who helped in putting on this awesome IOH trip. I was so blessed to be able to go on this retreat.
My family was blessed to go on a retreat with IOH and it was outstanding! This organization thought of everything to make us feel welcome and took care of all of the details to make each day and event something we will never forget! We left feeling revived spiritually, emotionally and physically. Being able to share stories with families in similar situations was such a relief. It was awesome to hear from children who had survived the loss of a parent and the legacy they had left behind. We will never forget the experience and people we met on our trip and will always be thankful for the opportunity to attend.
