Professional with expertise in this field
When I first met Caleb Lucien and the other leaders of HIM, I automatically bought in my American skepticism with me by asking myself "is this real? Are they doing good work or are they profiting from this great work?" To my surprise, they were the real deal in Haiti. Everything from school development to electricity in a rural community to taking care of orphans, they give you a holistic picture of economic development one initiated and run by nationals. In HIM is a huge camp site for students who are not able to afford the opportunity to just have fun and be children. In this camp students, men and women are afforded the opportunity to retreat from the day to day life in Haiti and enjoy a plethora of activities.
