Mission: The mission of Helping Hand Home for Children is to provide a therapeutic home for children and to restore each child to a healthy family setting.
Results: Since 2003, 83% of the children who receive therapy have moved to a less restrictive setting, either into a foster home or adoptive family.
Target demographics: HHH’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides 24-hour care for up to 41 severely abused children ages 4-13 from across the state of Texas. The Child Placing Agency provides therapeutic foster care approximately 35 foster children ages 0 to 18 years old.

Programs: The oldest continuously operating residential childcare agency in Travis County, HHH provides the full spectrum of residential childcare services for children. The children receive comprehensive treatment including life skills education, behavior intervention, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, education services, therapeutic recreation, and medical care. In 1995 Helping Hand Home’s Child Placing Agency began providing therapeutic foster care services and adoption services. In 2008 the Helping Hand Home Charter School opened its doors and began providing on-site specialized education services for up to 24 of HHH's children.
