Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: Rescue, Re-Home, Educate - We rescue dogs from “high-kill” shelters. provide medical care and keep them safe until a carefully matched new home can be found. We strive to educate our community about the danger of heartworm disease and the ease of prevention.

Results: Founded: Nov. 2009 Corporate Status: Not for Profit FL Corp. Non Profit Status: IRS approved 501(c)(3) Dogs Saved: 410 Dog Adopted: 400

Target demographics: Dogs in danger of being put to sleep simply because there is not enough room in the shelter to house them or because they suffer from an injury.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 68 dogs from municipal centers, provided medical, some basic training and socialization. 66 of those dogs we adopted out to loving homes in 2017.

Geographic areas served: South East Florida

Programs: An all breed rescue program designed to provide medical care, exercise and enrichment to homeless dogs. We then screen and select a great local family to provide a loving home to our rescue dogs.

This is my baby that I adopted from Have A Heart. It was an amazing experience. You can feel the love that Debbie and her fellow saviors have for these wonderful dogs.

I recommend anyone looking to rescue a forever friend, visit have a heart.
